This 40-hour course is designed to prepare bilingual individuals for professional certification as a medical healthcare interpreter. Upon completion, students will have received the necessary training to become a qualified medical healthcare interpreter, and pass either of the two recognized national certification exams. Additionally, graduates will be eligible to further their training with a 100-hour Interpreter Clinical Rotation, where they can gain hands-on, real-world experience within an actual healthcare setting, such as a hospital, clinic or medical office.
